Get paid for the games you already love
There is a strange gap in the internet. If you make videos, platforms have a way to pay you. If you write posts, some of them will share subscription money with you. If you are simply good at the games your family actually plays — Ludo on a Sunday, Ayo on a porch, Truco at a table — almost nobody built a home for that.
GlobalFolkGames is trying to be that home. You play the native games the way they have always been played. Wins are written on-chain so the board cannot quietly change. And each month, people on a paid plan who join the Member Cup and put in the work share thirty percent of every premium membership collected that month.
You do not need an audience. You do not need to stream. You do not need to invent content. The “content” is the match you already wanted to finish.
MONTHLY MEMBER CUP

Play first. Earn because you stayed.
Most “get paid to play” apps are asking you to install someone else’s game for a few cents, or they are asking two people to lock money against each other. That second version is a betting desk with nicer graphics. We did not build that.
What we built is closer to how a creator platform treats its paying members, pointed at gameplay instead of posts. People who enjoy the site enough to take a premium plan (L1, L2, or Early Backer) fund a monthly share. thirty percent of those membership fees goes back to the players who joined that month’s cup and actually won enough games to qualify. The other half keeps the lights on, the dice random, and the next folk game in development.
You never put a stake on a match. The other person across the board is not funding your prize. The month’s premium members are. That is why we can talk about this as a member reward and still let families play the way they play at home.
Ludo is live today. More native games join the same cup as they ship, so the same thirty days can be spent the way your own country already plays.

A month on the Member Cup
You can create a free account and play any time. Those games still count on your lifetime record. They just do not enter the money share, because the share is funded by people who chose a premium plan.
When you are ready to be part of the month, move to L1, L2, or Early Backer, confirm you are eighteen or older, and press Join on the cup that is open. We do not enrol you automatically. That sounds small until you realise it keeps the on-chain game itself clean: playing Ludo is playing Ludo. Earning from the month is a choice you make on this page.
From the moment you join until the window closes, every completed game can add pure game-win points. First place is one hundred points. In a four-player game second is twenty-five, third is ten, and fourth is zero. Leave a game or reset it and it pays nothing, because the chain only credits a finish. In this version of the cup you can play the computer, a friend on the same phone, or anyone who sits down with you. We care that you showed up and you closed the board. When online multiplayer and proper tournaments exist they will be labelled separately and will ask for rotating human opponents. That is later. This cup is how we start.
Ten thousand raw points in the window is the line that opens the share. That is roughly a hundred first-place finishes across the month if you are winning the two-player game, which is a real habit — a little time most days, not one lucky night. Below that line you still appear on the public board. People can see you played. You just do not take a slice of the thirty percent.
After the raw score, your plan gives a small multiplier so the people who put more into the membership pool are not treated as identical to a lower plan: L1 stays at 1.00, L2 is 1.25, Early Backer is 1.50. Only then do we split the month.
Your plan has to stay active through the last day. If it lapses you step off the paid board until you renew inside the same window. When the month ends, it ends. We then look at who crossed ten thousand, add up Final Points, and send each person’s share to the same embedded wallet already attached to their account.
There is no second ticket price. The premium plan is the ticket.
The board and the share are not the same thing
Everyone who joined, is eighteen, and kept a live plan can be seen on the month’s board. That is the courtyard. It is supposed to feel a little proud.
The share itself is narrower on purpose. It is the same people, plus ten thousand raw pure game-win points in that window. Sign-up gifts, referral points and daily-login treats never count, because those are welcomes, not wins.
If you stayed on the free plan, or you never pressed Join, or you dropped the plan and did not come back before the close, you are not in the share for that month. You can still play tomorrow.
The cup grows with the membership, not with a hidden cheque
We do not invent a prize and hope the month pays for it. thirty percent of the premium memberships collected in that same month is the cup. If a handful of people are on a paid plan, the share is modest and we will say so on the cup card. If the room fills, the same rule gets more interesting without anyone rewriting it.
When a window is open you should see the live pool on the card. When it closes, the same page should show who qualified, their Final Points, and the payment that went out. That is the whole story in public.
Ads, extra lives, and future cosmetic boards stay with the studio. If a brand ever sponsors a side cup it will have its own label and its own money. It will not be mixed quietly into the member thirty percent.
Payouts go out one to seven days after the month ends. We send what you earned that month, even if it is a small amount. Solana makes a small send realistic, and we would rather settle the month than keep other people’s money sitting in a pot that becomes a target. If you did not qualify, there is nothing to send. There is no balance we hold until next time.
The cup is open to players everywhere the site can run. We are not starting by switching countries off.
What you can do this month, and what is still being built
Right now the honest version is Ludo, on-chain dice, a monthly cup, and a membership share. That is already unusual. Computer and friends count because that is how people actually play while we finish real online matching.
As Ayo, Truco and the rest arrive, they feed the same ten-thousand-point line. You will not have to grind a single board forever. Separate tournaments, when multiplayer is stable, will be a different night of the week with stricter human pairing. We will not pretend those have shipped before they have.
So the courtyard stays fair
- You confirm you are eighteen when you join. Some places may ask for a simple check before the first cash send, because paying a minor is how a good idea gets shut down.
- Pure game-win points only. One account. If an account is closed for cheating, that month is over for it.
- Nobody takes a cut of your individual match. There is no player-versus-player stake inside the game.
- This is a member reward paid from premium subscriptions. It is not a promise of a salary, and it is not a casino. It is a way to leave a little of the table’s money with the people who made the table worth sitting at.
Things people ask before they join
Is this the same as betting on a match?
No. You are not putting money on the colour you are playing. The other player is not covering your prize. Premium members pay for access to the site. Half of that month’s access money is shared with the people who joined the cup and cleared the win line. If that still does not fit how your own country treats online play, you can keep playing and ranking in points. The games do not disappear.
Can I start mid-month?
Yes. Only games inside the open window count, and ten thousand points is still ten thousand points. Starting on day twelve just means the habit has to be tighter. The button stays available until the window closes.
I mostly play the computer. Does that count?
For this monthly cup, yes, as long as the game is finished. We know that is how a lot of people learn and how a lot of people unwind. When we have a separate tournament product it will say so on the card.
What if I forget to join?
Then you had a good month of Ludo and a record on your ledger. You did not opt into the share. Next month the button will be there again.
Why ten thousand points?
Because thirty percent of the membership should go to people who lived with the games that month, not to a crowd of accounts that won once and left. It is a high line on purpose. It is also reachable if the games are actually fun enough to return to.
When does the money arrive?
Within a week after the month closes, into the embedded wallet already on your account. We would rather send a small share than hold it.
Do I need to be a content creator?
No. That is the whole point. But let us say a little more, because the idea deserves one.
Our founder, Solomon Foskaay, kept asking himself the same question: people earn on social media for being content creators on those platforms, so why can gamers not also earn for being gamers on a gaming platform? A musician posts a song and a share of subscription money can come to them. A writer posts a thread and the same can happen. But a person who is genuinely good at the games their family actually plays has never had an equal place.
So he decided to invent it, and to test-run it right here on GlobalFolkGames. The rules are simple and public: thirty percent of the monthly membership money goes to the gamers who actually played and won on the platform, and who also met that month’s cup requirement — the same way a creator has to meet a requirement to earn on a popular social platform. That requirement is the ten-thousand raw win-point line, and the plan multiplier after it.
This is an experiment, and the door is open. We hope you join it, and we would love to see many people gaming and earning on the boards of the world.
